Using pinking shear scissors, cut straight across the lace for a more natural hairline. Yes, you will see the squiggly line and thats totally ok. If you do not have access to these specific type of scissors, a razor is recommended as well. The goal is to avoid cutting a straight line.

I recommend using a styrofoam mannequin head to hold the style of your wigs and a dust proof wig storage bag to secure your wigs when you are done wearing them. 

Deep condition and oil your scalps, braid down your hair to achieve a flat and secure look, use a stocking cap or wig grip band to protect your edges from the lace and wrap your hair at night with a silk scarf or silk bonnet.
